Baltic Media® Ltd Year in Review: Our Top Highlights of 2020
The year 2020 was like no other and it brought more change than most of us could have imagined. It was not easy to feel optimistic in face of all the challenges we had to overcome. But in a year of unprecedented change, we also felt hopeful, having seen the power of people to be there for each other during this crisis, sometimes, even against all odds. Now it is time for a recap of our most important milestones from 2020.

The international language and translation service company Baltic Media has updated its quality management system from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. The professional translation agency Baltic Media has been ISO certified since 2002.

2016: The year of competitive rates, high quality and speed
For Baltic Media®, 2015 will be remembered as a year of thousands of successful language service projects, customers of technical, automotive, medical, media, legal sphere who we proudly call friends, loads of new ideas brought to life.
2014 was a year of great challenges for Baltic Media®. Prices all around the industry were dropping while requests for high volumes to be delivered within short deadlines were more frequent than ever. A decision was made to invest in technologies and to redesign our project management processes to ensure that by the end of 2014 we would become stronger than ever. This turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.
20 Years in Translation Industry
In 2014, Baltic Media Ltd. celebrates its 20th anniversary. The company was founded in 1994 as the Swedish company's subsidiary. During its 20 years of operation the company has proved itself as a market leader providing quality language services in the Northern Europe.
26 September is The European Day of Languages.
This day was proclaimed by the Council of Europe on 6 December 2001, at the end of the European Year of Languages (2001). Its aim is to encourage language learning across Europe.
For 10 years Baltic Media has been Taking Advantage of Opportunities in Latvia
