The Importance of Professional Translation Services
With the revolution of the Internet, the companies from all over the world get more opportunities to go global. A global expansion requires much more than we can imagine. In order to achieve success globally, organizations need to implement a holistic approach to translation, taking into account not only the translation itself, but also the way marketing messages are received in different cultures.
Employing an efficient and fast translation service is essential in every business strategy. Professional translation makes your market potential even bigger.
What is GITEX?
GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition, and conference that takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Its exhibitions in the Middle East have attracted numerous participants, most notably in 2009 when Microsoft released Windows 7 with 150,019 people present.[1]
The show was launched in 1981 with the name GITE and occupied Hall One of the Dubai World Trade Centre. With the launch of MacWorld at the 1988 show, GITEX (the letter X had been added until then) expanded to two halls of the exhibition centre. For some years now it has filled the entire DWTC complex, currently consisting of 10 exhibition halls comprising a million feet of exhibition space.

The 2012 event included 60% from the Middle East, 19% from Africa, 13% from the Americas, 4% from East and South Asia and 4% from Europe. There was a 24% increase from Africa as compared to 2011.[4]

Why do we participate in GITEX 2016?
Unlike other marketing activities, exhibitions and trade shows offer a good platform for us to showcase our language services and communicate our key message.
Our goal is to maintain the high level of our global language service quality, quick turnaround and the best market price.
The competitive translation and transcreation service price from and into the largest languages is achieved thanks to the low production costs due to our geographical location. Baltic Media’s principal business operations take place in Riga.
Riga is the largest city in the Baltic States, offering one of the highest Internet connection speeds in the world and the lowest office space rentals in Europe, and this results in lower translation service expenses while maintaining high service quality level because we can still afford the world’s leading linguists and language experts.
“We have been striving to maintain and raise this level of service for 25 years since the time Baltic Media entered the language service industry,” says Anna Pelēkzirne, Marketing Director of Baltic Media
